What's my hat size?

Take a tape measure or a piece of string and measure around your head 1" above your eyebrows. Pull the string or tape measure as tightly as you would like your hat to fit. Give us that measurement and we should be able to ship you the correct size. Note: Our size suggestion is only as good as your measurement.

Sun Hat Size Chart

Small 6 3/4 to 6 7/8 = 21 inches to 21 1/2 inches

Medium 7 to 7 1/8 = 21 5/8 inches to 22 3/4 inches

Large 7 1/4 to 7 3/8 = 22 7/8 inches to 23 1/2 inches

X-Large 7 1/2 to 7 5/8 = 23 5/8 inches to 24 inches

XX-Large 7 3/4 to 8 = 24 1/8 inches to 25 inches

Care Recommendations

Even though your sun hat has been treated for water repellency, it is still not meant to be worn as a rain hat. It shouldn't be washed in a washing machine or under running water.

A lot of care has gone into the construction of your sun hat: to size it properly and to make a product that will last a long time. Too much water could soften the brim and might alter the sizing.

How do I clean my sun hat?

Sponge clean with mild soap and water or dry clean.

If the sweatband becomes soiled or oily, use a little of your shampoo on a toothbrush to break down the oils; then wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Please do not machine wash your sun hat!

How do I exchange or return a product I received from Andrew Thompson?

We want you to be happy with the Andrew Thompson product you have received. If for any reason you are not happy and need an EXCHANGE, CREDIT or REFUND please do the following:

Return the product to us either by UPS or insured parcel post - which ever is most convenient for you. (Return postage is your responsibility).

Please include a note giving us your name, address and daytime phone number along with what you would like for us to do:

Exchange the product for another size and/or color.
Credit my account. Your account will only be credited for the purchase price of the item(s) purchased.
Issue a refund check for the product returned. (Only if your original payment was by check)
